What is Shalom in isolation? It is the comfort of knowing you are in Yah Grace! As people hoard tissue, hide their faces, and stand 6 feet apart, I realize how important a piece of mind is. Marriages are breaking down, the stress of parenting is weighing some down, thoughts of absence of money and materials, and worry of illness of illness, are weeding the strong from the weak.
As I have headed back to work ( from working from home) I appreciate what Yah has allowed to take place over the last 2 months in America. Fear has been invoked, but we are not fearing and admiring the correct source. We should be waking up to the true power of Yah and be thankful of his grace and mercy. Not grace that we free to go about into the world and be free of deception and illness. But the grace that has allowed us to know that we should already be separating ourselves from the world. The grace that has showed us we should already be taking care of our bodies of clearing our systems so our health is not compromised and we can be of use of Yah. The grace that has allowed us to know that we should already be putting focus on the upbringing of our seed, so they can continue Yah’s traditions. He has been working on us to prepare us for these times. From feast days, to fasting, to Shabbat, his laws/commands, this builds us to up to be strong for these times, and to be able to discern what is essential and what is truth. Although we only see chaos ( most fabricated), I found peace. The quarantine allowed me time to bond with the baby, to spend more time with my wife, and learn to appreciate her more for what she does in a day. I had time to work in garden, and learn learn more about Yah’s environment and get more in tune with him.
While many viewed this time as the devil’s work and overwhelming, I viewed it as a blessing from Yah. If you are on this walk, isolation should be nothing new. Yah separates his sheep from world so we are not corrupted in our minds. While the ninja mask, and the request for us to not communicate is indeed overboard, I wished to stay isolated. It allows us time to spend with Yah, to observe the world around us , good and evil. But the time to focus on the “good” has been phenomenal. Looking at the flowers as they start to bloom, to catch the breeze from a neighborhood stroll, or to see your child smiling face as you work from the porch has been nothing short of revitalizing. Going back into this new and quickly changing world, I see we are being separated more and more each day. Yah intends for this to happen. We should encourage this spiritual change as it test who you really are or who’s you really are. We should always be evolving, in hopes to impress Yah when he sends back Yeshua. Learning not to have the daily luxuries should be something we should be all practicing. Focus on the simple things around you, which forces you to isolate, and stand still. We then realize that through everything going on, Yah is in control. None of us are perfect, and fear can grabs us momentarily, but when you apply Torah, it puts you back on the straight and narrow, on that isolated road that is less traveled. Shalom.
